Lipscomb University Bison Hall

A Second Home for Students

After completing the first Villages dormitory project in 2008, we were thrilled to team up with Tuck Hinton and Lipscomb University to complete another residence hall adjacent to the first.  The post-tensioned concrete frame was clad in precast architectural concrete and brick veneer to fit perfectly within the masterplan of the university.  The two wings connecting the 87 dorm rooms are connected by large, open lobby spaces on each of the 4 floors of the residence hall.  With a firm deadline of students arriving for fall semester, Solomon was able to achieve substantial completion and student occupancy 11 months from breaking ground.
